About the Greater Lansing Jewish Welfare Federation (GLJWF)

We seek to fulfill two goals.

We see our two goals as mutually reinforcing.
We include members of all of the local Jewish religious institutions as well as those who are unaffiliated.

About the Federation Movement

The Federation movement places collectively among the top ten charities on the North American continent in charitable activities and has the goal of protecting and enhancing the well-being of Jews worldwide through the values of tikkun olam (repairing the world), tzedakah (charity and social justice) and Torah (Jewish learning).
